Meet Chouchou a being whose name means "darling" in French and whose full-time job is to mediate disputes between sentient body parts. Over the course of 21 days, Chouchou helps Tada (the anxious left leg), Fifi (Fear), Ashley (the lungs), and Sunshine (the nervous system) to speak with one another, listen to each other, and heal together. The Inner Mediator is a hopeful story about the conversations that take place within us all. About the Author Carol Viana is a former lawyer and trained mediator. She began to reshape her relationship with her body after surviving a car accident and a traumatic brain injury. She wondered what might happen if every body part had a voice and every emotion were given the chance to be heard. *The Inner Mediator* is the story that emerged from that question.
